Today

The only thing that matters today is Halo 3: ODST.

All College Hike

Just got back from the "hike," which I drove to. Ha. Played some frisbee in the "Ultimate Frisbee Tournament." We played well. Lost our first game, but had fun none the less. Band practice at 4. Today is going to be a good one. Unfortunately, I get to leave practice early again to go to work. Sad day. Anyway, not too much happening today. Peace folks.

Thoughts

Today started with my ipod on shuffle and taking me to "Talk" by Coldplay, which just so happens to be one of my favorite songs. So, naturally, I'm off to a good start. As my day has gone on, I've noticed that I cannot stray away from Coldplay. Every song that plays by them seems to be telling me something. I want, more than anything, to be a musician that changes people's thoughts, days, and lives just by giving them my music. I have dreams quite often that involve me simply sharing my music with people, and getting their responses. Even negative responses make me happy just becasue I'm still sharing with them. This probably sounds completely stupid to anyone that isn't a musician or to someone that just doesn't care, but maybe something will intrigue you here.
I like where the band is going. I feel like we really have something here. We started as a group that didn't really know each other that well, and have turned into a group that is planning trips to Chicago, a possible cruise, fall and spring break trips, and even cries together. I cherish everything that we have going for us right now, and hope/pray everyday that this is what God wants me to do. We hit a rough patch a couple weeks ago. Not unexpected, lots of bands hit a wall, but we hit it pretty hard. It got settled, and I feel like now we are smooth sailing. I don't know where the wind will take us, but I'm ready to go there.

Why?

I'm going to begin with an apology to anyone that I offend, but this needs out.

What the hell is up with people wearing stocking caps and flannel when it's 90 degrees outside? I honestly cannot wrap my head around it. I've seen these people without hats on, they don't have bad hair, or some flesh eating scalp disease. So, there's NO reason for this.

If you are one of these people, please explain. I'm just curious.
